取名字很重要
特别是出了国，一个好叫好记的洋名更是少不了……
要知道，我们这些Asian的名，
叫起中文来时还不错，
可是BirthCert，IC那些英文名呢？
呵呵呵……
用汉语拼音取的倒还好，
但，
有的是父母用方言编的，
有的也是不懂怎样拼凑出来的……
比如，
我爸爸的朋友：徐亚国，
英文名：Si ah gao==’’
真是笑死街坊！
想当年（哇老,真的老了……‘当年’都出来了。）,
初到Aussie的我，
刚开始上课，
老师为了方便记得我们，
就一个一个问我们的Preference Name……
……
到我了，
Tutor： Are you ‘loong’？
HL： Yes，I am Loong
班上传来了一阵笑声……

‘oi，zomok？！’
我自己对自己呐喊道。
原来……
大家听到的对话是：
Tutor： Are you ‘long'？
HL： Yes， I am LONG.
好情色哦～～

随后一年，
上了大学的我，
为了摆脱‘long’的情色包袱，
我毅然换了han这个名，
好咯！
这个名T^T……
掀起我名字笑话的另一波高潮。
上日文课，
日文老师叫我Han-san，
han-san han-san……
每个人不是Ann-san， Ivy-san，
就是Vincent-san，
我的Han-san，
感觉就很像中国汉人，
每每被叫到，
真的有种说不出的微妙感受……

记得小时候，
不管PTS，UPSR，PMR，SPM，仰至统考～
我最pek cek最痛恨就是要用电脑改的考卷！
那时，英文名字长如我的人，
就得用2B笔一个字母一个字母的涂黑黑……
事隔20载，
上了大学的我，
还是离不开这魔咒，
考试时，
每每那多出来的10分钟Reading Time，
对我来说，
根本就是屁！
是异次元多出来，不存在的时间!
看我BB，
Lee Wen，2分钟搞定！
我，要涂这个写那个，
人家都开始动笔写了，
我还在……T^T
我常说：
‘尿都要流出来了’
就是从这里体会到的～

所以我说，
取名字要think twice before decide。
名字要简洁有力，
不要冗长沉闷；
简洁自然有力，
冗长自然沉闷……
像之前，
我姐姐的小孩要出世了，
名字一直拿不定主意～
这时，
我们3兄弟吭声了！：
不如男的话就叫梦达，女的叫均汝怎样？
姐姐心想：
哇！均汝还好，梦达真的不错！
我就说了：
姐夫姓巫，
所以孩子就叫巫梦达（吴孟达），
巫均汝（吴君如）～～～
哈哈哈！

她说……
哇！说到这里……
原来，姓也很重要。
所以，
要有个好名字，

我们要先投对胎！
